The gang and I are all reading the Lightning thief as we wait for the movie to come out.
With 4 people reading 1 book I thought we needed some personalized bookmark to keep track of our pages. The first is inspired by the color challenge over at the Diva Coffee Break Designs.
This one is for theColour Q.-17
I an not totally in love with how it looks but is is good at keeping track of pages. {LOL}
The last one I made is inprired by Gabby and Anya

1 tall Raspberry/ Chocolate Christmas card {to go}

This looks like a cupcake or something yummy to eat...LOL The card is 8 1/2 in. tall and 4 in. wide.

I made this yummy card with Dawn Mcvey's Raspberry Suite Color challenge. I love these colors! I was also inspired by the Stampin' Sisters in Christ, Challenge for a nativity theme card.
I really enjoyed both of these Challenges ...I may make some more!

mini basket {Peeps}

Materials:
{2} wide oval punches
{1} 1 1/2" X 6" piece of card-stock
{2} brads small
Glue
1/8" inch hole punch{small hole on Crop-o-dile)
Scalloped edge punch

1. Score the 1 1/2 X 6 inch card-stock on long side half an inch in. Scallop the edge of the long sides of the 1 1/2 X 6 card-stock, save the small strip that is left. {it will be the handle}
2. The side that the sore is closest to will be the bottom. Fold the scallops and curl the piece so it will round the shape of the wide oval with ease.
3. Take 1 of the ovals and put glue close to the edge for the scallops. I found it easiest to glue the edge to the inside if the basket. When you come to the edge it will overlap about 1/4 of an inch.
4. Use the 2nd oval to cover the bottom. I used a lot of glue to secure this part!
5. When your basket is shaped add the handle. Use the pieces left-over from the edging for the handle. To make sure that the handle goes on even I marked the bottom of the oval. Punch a small hole on both sides of the basket as well as the left-over handle.
6. Use the small brads to attach the handle to the basket. The handle will move freely. When you are placing the peep inside the sides are very stick so move the handle aside to keep them tidy.
Please let me know how your mini basket works out.

Happy Easter,

Baby stuff

Tomorrow I leave to go to my cousins place for her baby shower. I finished the shower favors last night. I used Easter M&M to fill these treat bags.
I almost forgot.
I also needed to make a card! Not only do I need to make a card for my cousin but I need to make something for the creation swap on Flickr. I loved the way the card worked out so I made one for my SU! demonstrator-Mel too.
I hope they love it!

Onesie Gift Tag

My favorite thing about Paper craft blogs is Tutorials! So here is one. I made these tags for a babies Christmas gifts. You may have seen the onesie cards around well I have changed the measurements to make gift tags. You will need:
2 in X 6 in piece of paper
Small hole punch
Small oval punch
Embellishments(your pick)

1st- fold you paper to measure 2 X 3, With you fold on the top.
2nd- One the Back. Mark the sleeves 1/2 inch X 1 inch on each side. You will also need to draw a line from the "armpit" to the "hip" of the Onesie. Cut these lines out.
3rd-At the open end Mark 1 in in the center. This marking will guide your oval punch for the leg holes.
4th- You need to mark the center at the top (were your fold is) for the neck. Using you punch unside-down is the best way to line things up.
5th-Punch the legs out. Holding the punch upside-down will allow you to see the marks you made to guide your sizing.Punch about a 1/4 of the oval.
6th-You will want to place a small hole on the back "shoulder" area for your string. Simply tread it and make a knot. 7th- Punch out the neck. Use the center mark you made to cut half of the oval.
You can turn it over and decorate it, now. I just added a little snowflake brad.
Cute, eh!
