White Boxer-shortsCard and a Craft for Children

So today I have a card that I made for my husband's Christmas. I saw this card on Splitcoaststampers gallery. I though it was so cute I just had to make one. I also Made it for the "Whachdoin' Wednesday Challenge". The Challenge was to make a "White Christmas" card.

Tomorrow the kids have a day off School so are working on some gifts. The gift we are making is Decorated Peppermint Chocolates. Yummm. Fo years I have been saving card we get for Christmas and this time I am going to use them.
Decorated Peppermint Chocolates
It is a very simple craft to do with Children.
Here is what you need:
Recycled Christmas card (designer paper is fine)
Solid color cardstock (we used white)
1 3/8 Circle punch
large Scalloped Circle punch
tape runner (dry glue)
Peppermint Chocolates (Peppermint patty type)
1st-Punch the recycled cards with your 1 3/8th Punch.
2nd-Punch your scalloped circle from you solid card stock.
3rd-Take your chocolates and glue the scalloped circle to the side where all the foil meets. (the bottom)This allows you treat to lay flat when you display it.
4th-Glue your punched 1 3/8th image to the center of the Scallop.
5th- Make More!
The kids are all excited to make these treats for there teachers. I also like that no actual food will be touched in the process of making these.
