Asian Wedding Card

I made this card for the Caardvark "Are you ready to GET PUBLISHED?!" Challenge to make a wedding card. This is a wedding card inspired by India's hindu religion. I have gone to a few India themed wedding and felt like a pearly white wedding cards are out of character.
Hindu wedding in particular are extremely colorful.
The people of India look at the Peacock as a sign of Love and Affluence. Red is also a color of significance for India's culture, it represents joy. I love how vibrant the image looks. To get my "birds of a feather" Peacock from Basic Grey to stamp out this bright I used "Creole Spice" Kaleido-color ink on glossy photo paper. The card-stock is from Stampin' Up in Kiwi Kiss {ribbon too}and Real Red. I used Designer paper from Me and My big Ideas' "Modern Milan" collection.

Happy Krafting!
