UP UP and AWAY!!!

Hey all,
Today I am a Guest designer over at the Cinema Saturday Challenge! {YEAH!}
I really enjoy the Challenges the ladies post every week. Movies are my second favorite hobby.
Did any one guess the movie from the sneak peaks? I never get those things...Do you?
This week's Feature Film is Pixar's UP!  and the challenge is balloons.
"Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #74 - UP!"
The movie up is about an old Man who wants to live out his dream of seeing South America's wildlife.
He does this by attaching a Gazzilloin balloons to his house, UP, and away he goes!

I created this card with a gazzilion balloon and the quote " Adventure is out there!" from the movie.
To choose the colors I used the bird Carl meets in South America as inspiration.

That bird is so funny and the way the kid love the bird is so sweet. I stamped and cut out a LOT of balloons for this card and I layer them with dimensionals to make it look like it is popping off the page.

I used the Mojo Monday #133 to create my card.
Happy Krafting, Shaz

Bright Spring colors!

I am very excited that spring is around the corner.
I am SO done with this muddy winter!.. Blah...
This card is for the YNS Challenge 10 Spring Colours ...... challenge as well as the Creative Card Crew's Challenge 45 Get Well Soon... WAIT the Mojo Monday 126 sketch too.{boy oh boy}
I really got creative with this stamp... See the lamp on the side table? It is actually a bottle!
I added a piece of strategically placed DP to make a lamp shade and Viola!
I wanted to use my new Shark sewing machine on this card.
So I added stitching on the top and bottom of the card.
I am not sure the tension was right but the stitching is still O.K. Not perfect! but O.K.
I love these bright colors. I had so much fun with these colors I made this wedding card too!
No challenges, just for fun.

Shaz Vs. the glitter {bom bom bah}

I love the way glitter looks on a card but I never seen to get it right...
I had the glitter all lined up teal on teal and orange on orange but somehow... somehow it got messed around. Not that it looks too bad, but I never win with glitter.
Any hooo!
The Finding Nemo Creative prompt was a color prompt and I just loved the colors! I love teal and Aqua the are just my fav! It also suggested that we use a quote from the movie so after much google-ing I chose the quote" good feeling gone". I liked this quote, it is so funny, when Dory is all happy and the it switches off..."good feeling gone." It is a great movie!

If you have not seen it Watch it....
You will laugh.

smiles & bloopers

I have smiled so many times since I joined the GreetingFarm gallery!
The artists on the farm are so talented and encouraging I have love browsing the card they make. It is my new favorite gallery!
Today for the "FarmFreshFriday" challenge over at the GreetingFarm gallery. The challenge is to make a "no Fills" card. I must say it was tricky to refrain from ribbon and flowers. But I did it!
I made an easel card with this template. It is so simple. You can make three 4 X 4 inch card with a sheet one 12 X12 of card-stock. I also used the sketch from MojoMonday and the colors from ColorThowdown.
Now for my BLoopers!
Since I have had so many smiles from the comment here and at the GreetingFarm Gallery. I thought I would make you smile.
I will show you some great card bloopers!
This card was a scratch and sniff card that got licked by a 2 year old.
This card got edited by two 4 year olds!
This card was enhanced by a 5 year old stamper.

lol ... I love kids! they are so CREATIVE!.... lol

I hope you loved the bloopers. I am sure I will have more in the future.
Have a great week-end,
Shaz

Monkey somthing card {Mojo69}

I did this card for the Mojo Monday Challenge .
I love the way it turned out. I used a blender pen for all the coloring. which should not be hard but it was taking me some time to get just right. I think the trick it to go slow.
Any~how let me know what you think!

Tea and a Dress.(cards)

I LOVE A CHALLENGE!
I have made 2 cards for 2 Challenges.
1st for Cinema Saturday Creativity
I made a cute little dress. I was ver excited to use the Sound of Music for inspiration. I watched with my kids at I stamped. To get the look of textile I stamped a second generation image. I also wanted it to have a faded look so I randomly place bolder stamped images and sponged around the card's edges. I also cut a 1/2 in strips of paper to use for a sash. Folding a shorted strip of paper around to make a tie. I kept all the dress pieces out so the patterned paper I made to keep it simple.
2nd for MojoMonday#64
I made a little Christmas tea card. Here is the thing! I did not want to stamp a Christmas Sentiment. So I made a little "Word Puzzle". I took a few of the words that came with the stamp and arranged them close together on my Acrylic block. When I stamped them they look like one image. Like a Word collage.
